2023's Retropspective

The year 2023 has been marked by several significant events for EAI International, reflecting both successes and changes within the organization.
**Success of Events:**
We are pleased with the success of the two major events during the year. The spring meeting in Milan brought together participants from around the world, fostering fruitful exchange of ideas and collaborations. Additionally, the annual congress in Munich was a success, attracting even more enthusiastic participants.
**Changes within the Board of Directors:**
The year 2023 saw the departure of prominent members from the Board of Directors, namely Beth Attebery, Mark Rubinson, Jonathan Sturm, Jean-Marie Cadren, and John Graham. However, EAI International enthusiastically welcomed new directors, such as Erik Herkströter, Yves Boutruche, and Richard Barber. These new members bring a wealth of experience and perspectives, strengthening the strategic direction of the organization.
**Reorganization of the Executive Board:**
Significant changes also took place within the Executive Board. Doris Moraschi was appointed Vice President, bringing dynamic leadership and continued commitment to the mission of EAI International. Eric Mercanton assumed the role of Secretary-General, while Yves Boutruche was designated as Treasurer. These adjustments aim to enhance the operational efficiency of the organization.
**Departure of Members and New Dynamics:**
Simultaneously, departures were observed among the members of EAI International. The departures of Kap Budiman Antadaya (Indonesia), Orbis Hong Kong, Dexterous Group (Australia), Henry Levy Group (California), and Gravita (London) were noted. These changes have opened the door to a new strategic positioning for the Association.
**Success of Webinars:**
EAI International continued its virtual approach by organizing webinars throughout the year. These online events attracted satisfactory participation, allowing the organization to maintain an active connection with its members and share relevant knowledge in a rapidly evolving world.
