EAI: If you were not an accountant, what other profession do you think you would have liked to do?
Emili Coll (EC): Conductor. I am absolutely passionate about music
EAI: A personal charactaristic appeals to you or annoys you the most?
EC: I like people who express themselves well and who know how to combine speech and silence well.
I don't really like pretentious people who think they are experts in everything.
EAI: What is the best advice you have ever received ?
EC: A wise person once told me, "When you achieve great success, remember that you are a mere mortal; when you have a terrible failure, remember that you are a man.
EAI: What was your biggest mistake?
EC: No big mistakes, I would say, but certainly many small and medium-sized ones. In any case, I am at peace with myself.
EAI: Your biggest extravagance?
EC: I try to be fit in every sense of the word and so I often do Crossfit ®, yoga and meditation. Often with young people who are half my age, which makes it a bit weird ???? ????
EAI: What’s your dream ?
EC: I avoid big dreams, it would prevent me from enjoying the present.
EAI: Which well known personality would you most like to dine with?
EC: There are numbers. I won't name the obvious ones ????. I would have loved to have had dinner with Julius Caesar the night he decided to cross the Rubicon.
EAI: Who would you like to be for a day?
EC: A cosmonaut on the International Space Station
EAI: Your best memory?
EC: Here I will not be original: the two moments when my two children were born in front of me.
EAI: In one sentence please sum up yourself
EC: I am radically classical and at the same time I like transgression (peaceful, obviously).
EAI: The best place in the world?
EC: Cap de Cavalleria on the island of Menorca at sunset.
EAI: How would you spend a sabbatical year?
EC: No particular or extravagant activities. Rather several activities to which I cannot devote sufficient time: studying, travelling, revisiting old friends ...
EAI: Is there a talent that you wish you had?
EC: I would like to have the talent of an artist, especially in plastic arts. To be able to represent reality, emotions, ideas in the form of painting or sculpture.
